Thanks for dropping by our newly-launched Technology Help Center. We sincerely hope that this resource will benefit you in lots of useful ways. Shall we begin with a few questions you might have?
- Why?
- Good question. We wanted to endeavor to better empower each individual Mill Creek technology user. We wanted to make it easier for you to find answers to common questions that you might have, to introduce you to new features, tips, tricks, or gadgets that are already at your fingertips, but that you perhaps haven't yet discovered.
- We also wanted to create an easily accessible, editable, up-to-date community repository for knowledge that helps us all move our jobs forward, by publishing how-to articles, feature updates, and the like.
- Finally, we wanted to find a way for the Mill Creek IT Department to better interact with all of our fellow employees in the most efficient, friendly, and productive way possible.
- Where?
- Excellent second question! You're really on a roll here. :)
- This site is accessible no matter where you are in the world, from your office desktop PC, your hotel room laptop, even your smartphone or tablet. Just save or bookmark https://millcreek.zendesk.com/hc/e on your device, and you're good to go!
- One caveat is that, although we won't be publishing any truly confidential information on the Help Center site, some of the information might be a tad more sensitive, so those areas will only be accessible by registered Mill Creek employee users. When you are on the site, you'll notice a link for you to log in at the upper right hand corner. You must have a valid Mill Creek Companies email account to register.
- What?
- You'll notice that some articles are "promoted", meaning that we've flagged them to show up on the main page. We'll typically do this with articles that are newer, or are of lasting concern and usefulness to the first-time visitor.
- Please note the big topic buttons on the main page. You can click on any of them that interest you to peruse that particular topic. Inside each topic are subjects that you can drill down into for more specific articles. Please note that at the end of each article, you can rate the usefulness of the article, or post questions or comments.
- You can also use the search box to type in a keyword. The search engine will search any and all articles that you have access to and return the results to you.
- Another cool feature is the "Community" link in the upper right hand area of the page. This link takes you to a page where you can submit feature requests for systems that we currently use, or perhaps request something cool that you read about and would like to suggest that we begin using. There is also a general discussion page, where you can post comments, questions, etc. It's no Facebook, I'll admit, but it might become useful if lots of people participate and interact.
- Finally, there is a "Submit a Request" link at the top. This link takes you directly to our helpdesk portal, where you can submit helpdesk requests to our department. PLEASE, take a moment to check out that area, as it is the primary and more importantly, most USER FRIENDLY AND EFFICIENT way of submitting helpdesk requests.
