Receive Inventory from Purchase Order
- Open Inventory Module
- Click File > Purchase Orders
- In the Search box enter the PO# and press tab
- With Line highlighted you are ready to receive
- Click Express Receiving (Looks like an E)
- If the E is grayed out and you can’t click it look at the status column. If it says “To Be Ordered” double click the line to open it. Type “x” in the Taken By field and enter a date in the promise date (short cut type d and system will enter today’s date)
- Box will pop up with PO line number, click ok
- Verify the information on the screen and add what is needed:

- Items
- Run Lot (Optional)
- Bill of Lading # (Required – use date received or order number on delivery paperwork)
- Bin Location (Optional)
- Verify Qty Received matches what you were physically sent, change if needed

- Bottom left hand corner (Generate Item Tag) Uncheck this box
- Click OK when done
- Material is now in inventory! (Line status shows satisfied)
- Lines on the customer orders will be in reserved status after receiving.
- If you only receive part of the line you will get a question about satisfying the order. If you say “no” the remaining portion will stay open & on order. If you say “yes” the PO will be satisfied/closed.
To review products received
- Inventory Module
- File > Roll Inventory or Item Inventory
- Click binoculars
- Select just your location
- Enter Date Rcvd from & to (previous day to today)
- Click OK
To see what is material is due from suppliers by a date range
- Inventory Module
- File > Purchase orders
- Click binoculars
- Select just your location
- Put a checkmark in in status To Be Ordered, Open, Back Ordered
